When hiring a skip, there are a few things
that you need to take into consideration before you take delivery.
You should assess if you have an adequate amount of private land to accommodate your skip, for example, in your driveway
or garden. A standard skip lorry requires a minimum of 10ft (3.3metres) width to gain access, regardless of the size of skip
you have ordered.
Before you place an order with us, please ensure that you can place the skip on private property. Skips can be placed
on the road, but you will need a permit from the local council. Any skip that is sited on the road must have a light at each
end and traffic cones to ensure it is clearly visible to motorists at all times. Call us for more information.
There are also items that you cannot place in your skip. These include hazardous
waste such as:
Aerosols | Asbestos |
Chemicals | Freezers | Fridges
| Gas Bottles or Canisters | Solvents
