Are there any materials I
cannot deposit in my skip?
The items that we cannot accept include: Asbestos,
Gas Bottles, Fridges and freezers.
Do I need permission if
my skip is left in the road?
Yes. You will need a permit from your local
council. This can be arranged by us on your behalf. If the skip is going to be kept off the road, for example on your driveway,
then a permit will not be required. Council permits can take up to five working days to obtain. This delay needs to be taken
into account when deciding on the dates for hiring a skip.
What areas do you cover?
We cover the whole of Ayrshire and
surrounding areas.
How much can I fill
a skip?
You must not load the skip higher than the vertical sides. This
is a legal requirement. It is against the law for our drivers to carry skips loaded beyond this point on public highways.
How long can I keep the skip when I order?
Our skip hire is normally up to one week. However, if you want to keep the skip for longer, we can arrange this.
Contact us for details.
What is the capacity of the skips you
can supply?
There are three capacity sizes, 2 tonnes, 4 tonnes and 8 tonnes.
